Has anyone had Cabana 18 on Castaway Cay?

I understand that it used to be an adults only Cabana but now it is part of the family cabanas. Has anyone stayed in it? Any thoughts?

Well, the number 18 used to be at Serenity Bay. But , when DCL built 4 new cabanas on the Family beach, the number moved over to there.

The cabana that used to be #18 at Serenity Bay then became #22. Now it's #01 (on Serenity Bay).

We had 17 before and enjoyed it. Any cabana is a good cabana!

Those are great shots and I love the photos! I can see why you loved it! (and... too true! any cabana is a good cabana! !)
Did it face onto the open water or did it face a tide pool? Did you feel like your neighbors were too close because there is not as much vegetation?

It faces the tide pool, I prefer the open water. It was cold that day and the water was super cold so it didn’t really matter. I hear you about lack of vegetation and feeling close to the other cabanas. It was fine for us, but I could see how that could bother some people. We have had some lower numbered cabanas that are more private.
