Has anyone had bubble tea?

I love bubble tea! The tapioca is chewy, and normally that sort of thing might gross me out, but this doesn't at all. My favorite flavor is taro. Give it a try.. if you don't like the tapioca you'll still probably enjoy the rest of it.

None of us like it. We only recently tried it at the restaurant around the corner. ewww

I must be living in a cave because I've never heard of it. I really like tapioca though- with a gritty chocolate sauce. My Aunt used to make it- she's been gone a few years now. What I wouldn't give to find her gritty chocolate sauce recipe.

looooooooooooooooooooove it!!!!!

From an authentic Vietnamese place is the BEST, but I can also get it at a chain called 5 Spice.
YUMMY! :cutie:

You're not alone. This thread is my introduction too.

I am a bit curious and I love tea, but I'm not sure if I could drink/eat it. I'd try a bit for free, but don't think I'd want to pay for something and then throw it away. Even tapioca pudding makes me a bit queasy. I think I associate "chunky" with rotten. :upsidedow

I like it!

I had heard of it years ago and finally got to try it at EPCOT. It wasn't available around here at that time.

Now, it is still not widely available. I can get it at our favorite Chinese Buffet, but don't want to fill up on a drink!!! Next time, I am asking them if I can get one to go !!!!!!:)
