It's my daughters 1st bday and I wanted something in room for her they have offered 50 balloons or minnie balloon and plush, just wondering if anyone had done this. Thanks

Yet another similiarity on our trips! I have also been offered both of the above for my Daughter's 6th birthday! :rotfl:

I wasn't sure what you'd get for 50 euros worth of balloons - so think I'm just going to take my own and get my Mum to distract Livvy so I can quickly go up to the room to do them!

We had it last week and asked for their free balloon arrangement and card. We were lucky and also for a free Donald plus for both of our girls.

This is the pricelist that I was given for 'extras' they can do for the room:

I'm still torn on whether to do anything, but I think staying in the big 'Pink Castle' is enough of a treat itself. Last year we stayed in the Cheyenne & Sequoia Lodge, so it's a big jump up!

I still can't get over €50 for balloons - they should all be gold-plated at that price! :rotfl:

Personally I think just staying anywhere at DLP is enough of a treat! If it were me, I'd rather save the money to put towards a nice meal or souvenirs to bring home.

I had balloons in my room for my birthday last year but neither me or my DBF ordered or paid for them. We mentioned to the hotel that we were visiting for our birthday (both of us celebrated our big days whilst at the magic). When we checked into our room nothing was there, but when we came back from a day in the park our room was decorated with birthday balloons.

It was definitely a special Disney moment, and a complete surprise!

Maybe it's worth mentioning that you are visiting for your daughters 1st birthday and see what magic Disney brings... I certainly wouldn't pay €50 for balloons :confused3

Either way - you will all have an absolutely fab time and it's definitely going to be a magical birthday for little princess :cloud9:
