It seems Universal aren't offering much in the way of discounts on their hotels this year. Over the last few years there have been some great ENTertainment rates. I know AAA is available and some APH rates at 10% discount are filtering through, but has anyone had another discount and if so which one?

Got APH 10% off for June. Have been checking recently to see if higher discount and plenty of rooms showing even at the weekend but boom today only rack rates showing! Are they doing something and adding more discounts as have seen this happening for April/May dates when randomly checking on the website??

I called today as a periodically check for a better rate for my stay 3/21-3/23 at RPR. I was offered an AP rate of $249 per night for a standard at PBR instead of $374. That's a huge difference; however, I'm staying at RPR for $206 per night so I'll keep that.

I have been checking online for the past week. Then, yesterday they opened up a bunch of March dates the FLO rates, and today it seems they added some APH rates that match.

There doesn't seem to be the normal Fri/Sat surcharge. PBH standard rooms were $229 all nights, $249 Bay, $269 Deluxe, $329 Club for the 3rd week of this month.

Also, as others have reported, some April and May dates have even better rates. There doesn't appear to be anything on the website indicating these are available. For example, the Florida resident page still shows the Jan 9 - Feb 17 dates and rates.

I got the AAA rate of $210.60 at RPR standard view for 8/2-8/4. The APH rate is $211. I'm hoping that the closer August gets they'll lower their rates a little more. Every little bit helps, especially when you have to get 2 rooms.

Also got the $210 rate at the RPR using AAA.

You can scratch ENT off the list, they're done, RIP, all good things must come to an end.

Right now it seems it comes down to AAA and APH as the best deals.
AAA is the best and works right now. APH is still up in the air and may work depending on your dates.

we have RPR for $159.20 plus tax,9/1, AAA discount. I guess that's as good as we'll get without the ENT discount so I'm pretty happy with that.

Booked @ HRH in 9/04 for 2/13 to 2/16 using AAA rate of approximately $270+/night. In January I switched to an APH rate of $139/night (plus tax), they even offered me a fourth night free! Unfortunately, I had to decline as we were heading to WDW.

I was able to upgrade my Universal 5 day bonus ticket to the AP for $90, the savings at the hotel more than covered the price difference. If your employer participates, check out the FAN rates. They seem to be comparable to AAA and they offer advance purchase ticket discounts (I originally paid approximately $270 for 3, bonus tickets).

Obviously, discounts are easier to find when the hotels need to fill up the rooms. This is one of the reasons we try to travel shortly before "peak season" begins. We've found the discounts to be substantial, ranging from airfare to rental cars. Good Luck in finding good deals.
