Has anyone gotten WL standard view with free dining?

I keep checking every day to see if they have a standard available. Right now I'm booked in a Woods view and I really don't want a woods view! Not just for the money either!

I'm going to be calling very early tomorrow morning to see if one opened up when the offer goes public but I was just curious if anyone was able to get one.

We could not get a standard or woods view room. So as per instructions our TA booked us CBR with FD. But she is calling in the morning to see what she can get us. Hopefully we can get a room at WL. Good luck to both of us.

We did, however we had it booked since Jan, and they just applied the free ddp on Monday when we called for the Visa promotion.

Lots of people thought that you would have to cancel and rebook when the promotion came out. I don't think that was true. There were several people that said on Mon that they were trying to make a new res for a std view at WL and it wasn't available. Many others said they already had a std view prior to Monday and were able to keep it.

Count me in to call first thing in the morning also. I tried to get standard view at WL, but wound up taking standard view at AKL. I know my DS, who'll be 14 months when we go, will love the animals, but I still have my heart secretly set on WL! Good luck to us all!

We could not get standard room either (8/26-9/2) We had to get woods also.
I had a standard room booked since December anticipating free dining but it was for 8/21-8/28, so I had to change the dates.

Count me in as one who is calling in the morning. There has been no availability at WL for 9/22-9/29. We'll take any view at this point. I hope they open so more rooms to the public!

I have a woods view, but that's what we wanted. I had booked it over a few weeks ago then added the free dining on Monday. Good luck to everyone.

I just made my ressie about 2 weeks ago at WL so I am not sure if I'll get to 'modify' or I'll get bumped out due to the perceived limited amount of std. rooms as my dates are 9/21-9/27. I had initially planned for a moderate but my parents are coming too, so we talked ourselves up to WL.

I'm hoping it works out for all of us wishing for WL. But if I have to walk away, I'm going moderate and pocketing my $1,000 between the free dp and lower lodging costs. Disney is a business, and I've run my figures too.

I just got off the phone and was told no standard views for my dates. 9/22-30.

I had to call back and there was nothing but concierge available.

No, I tried again this morning. Couldn't get anything below concierge level and WL for 9/21-9/30, and nothing below the savannah view at AK I already have.

I was just able to get a Courtyard with bunkbeds for 9/8-9/13. Definitely not what I wanted, we were looking at 9/22-27, but it was sold out. I am on with my CM right now, and we actually had 2 other dates blocked, and the system kicked us out, and we had to rebook a different date. It's crazy!!!!

I'm going to keep trying back to see if my dates change....

I called back this morning and wasn't able to get a standard view at WL, but they did have a courtyard view with two queen beds. I changed my ressie from 3 adults, 1 child to 4 adults, 1 child and standard view AKL to courtyard view WL and the price difference was $700, I thought that was pretty reasonable.
