Has anyone gotten a room discount code for next fall yet?

I keep reading conflicting information. Some people say all you have to do is arrive during the FD period and you qualify for it for the whole visit. Other people say you only receive free dining credits for the days that are listed in the date range of the promotion. I called Disney and asked and they said it's the latter. It's only for the dates you're there during the FD period.

Does anyone know the truth? Any idea why the conflicting info?

As long as you check in by the last day of the promotion which is September 29th you will recieve Free Dining for the length of your stay up to a max of 14 Days. I hope this helps.
CM's on the phone are notorious for giving miss information.

The promotion ends for booking on 12/20/2010 at 11:59p.m. No real word yet on what will come next......But normally it does not come out until the first of the year. Like everyone else......I only book when there is a big promotion. I have received pins but the dates did not exceed the month of May. :confused3:confused3!!! I hate I have not received one for the Fall, but generally that does not begin to come out until early Spring.:scared1::scared1:

I am crossing my fingers and waiting.popcorn:: I am taking a chance and not booking the FD. We do not want to go in September this time. I would love to see 4/3 again.

We booked on Nov 8th for the end of October, then last week Dec 16th we switched our dates to take advantage of the FD promo which is out there now. We decided even though it is pretty likely there will be more promotions forthcoming for FD and discounts on rooms, we would lock in the FD now since we can always change later if something better comes along.

It seems to me that Disney usually announces something during the televised Christmas Parade- or maybe I am rememebering wrong but in any case I guess we will all have to wait and see.

I rec'd a pin mid-January last year 20/30/40 good for all of 2010 with some blackout dates of course, so have my fingers crossed but I doubt I get lucky again.
I am with you on the 4/3 !

Well, I will pay attention to the parade this year. I am not sure that my not booking is a good idea. There are a lot of us going this coming year and I want to make sure that I can find the best deal. Everyone has a different set of budgets, but we all want to be in the same resort.

Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!!!!

This is so stressful! I want to book Sept 6-16 somewhere (I think we have something going though for a BC stay) and then Sept 16-18 at GF, main building, theme park view, club level under a 35+% off discount. We've never stayed GF before mainly because we really want to stay in that specific room which is a lot per night. The only way it'll be manageable is to have a discount and only stay 2 nights, lol. But, as specific as it is, I have to be RIGHT there to book it before someone else does so I have to be on top of it.

We missed FD but both of us didn't really want to do moderate or value this time and for us (only two people) it's more economically smart for us to go with another deal.
