Has anyone gone to two MNSSHP's during a trip???

I used to, but the cost has gotten too high to go more than once.

We did it several trips back. The first party, about midway it began to rain. Actually it began to pour, so we stayed for a little while but since it did not appear to be ending anytime soon, we left and purchased tickets for another night.

But the prices were $39.00 each back then. We are leaving on Friday and not even going one time this trip. Just too expensive, so we are using those funds to purchase the Express pass on our one day US trip.

We are doing two next month...We always hit MK 2 days each trip and with the ease of riding all night we can get to the park later in the morning to enjoy dining and Fast Pass.

We did two parties last year. While we would love to do so again, I don't see us doing so, due to the cost, as others have mentioned.

As a matter of fact, as mentioned in another thread, we have reached our cost vs perceived value point, party wise. We had a great time this year, but the lines were def worse than years past with less to do. As such, I no longer think it's worth the cost going forward. We are glad we got on last party in though.

We stopped doing MVMCP years ago due to the costs/crowds. MNSSHP is almost at that point for us as well, which is a shame. I definitely couldn't justify the cost for 2 nights.

we did 2 MNSSHP back in 2014, just in case for rain as well, but it was nice because one of the nights we could focus on getting characters and the other night we focused more on Trick or Treating.

Parties only... Sadly, I've got a lot more room before I swear off trips to Disney (don't tell anyone!).

I'd LOVE to do 2 parties in one trip. If I had the cash, i'd do it. I was on the fence about adding a 2nd party last year. My original plan was to wait til i get to disney and decide during my trip to buy the 2nd mnsshp. But while i was taking the time to think about whether or not to buy the 2nd party tickets right away OR wait until I get there, the date i wanted sold out!! So naturally i had to go with only one party.

My advice to you...if you have the cash, do it. Its so fun!! And dont wait to buy tickets like I did.

We did but only because the villains mix and mingle at up so much of one party.

It was nice! We didn't feel pressured to do everything in one day.

Good idea!! I was quite surprised that so many mnsshp dates in October sold out last year. I wonder if it'll be the same this year? only time will tell. Have fun!

We arrive on the 15th and depart on the 23rd.

My son in college will be at the party on the 16th with his gf. They are there Friday thru Tuesday to celebrate their birthdays. His is the 13th and hers the 11th. They have classes on the 13th though so they can't go on his birthday. We are going on Thursday the 20th unless we also decided to go on the 16th when they go.

Nice. If you can swing it, i'd also go on the 20th. You'll love it. MNSSHP is so much fun. My party date last year was sold out, but I still had an amazing time. Have fun!

I've done it for 4 years now - 2 MNSSHP parties the same week. I'm doing it again this year too even though I hadn't planned on that. I had planned on getting the premium package for Food and Wine and since that was nixed by Disney, I had the spare cash for a 2nd MNSSHP this year.

I've found that for me, it's the best way to see and do everything I love at the parties. Hallowishes and the parade are my favorites so it's wonderful for me to see them more than once each trip.

I need to sit down and make my plans for the 2 parties. Which characters on which day will depend on what I dress up as so I need to get that finalized first. I have so many costumes at home since I love Halloween that it's hard to choose.

I've done it a few times... I remember the rain from oct 2014 and how crowded the parties were because everyone kept getting refunds and tickets for the next one if they were still in town.. I stuck out the rain and it was an amazing experience with most families gone.. Enjoyed it so much I purchased tickets for the next one... Long story short, we ended up in a situation we had to extend our trip so we went a third time.. Fast forward 2 years ahead and now we live here, although the price is insane this year and we'll not be doing it that many times the whole season. When it was around $50, multiple times was not a huge cost for 2 people. Now that it's 70-105 per person, it's going to limit us.

We did....12 years ago.

The very first time we did MNSSHP was in 2003 and we had a great time so for our 2004 trip we did the party twice. In the following years we'd just go once during the trip.

TBH, I don't enjoy the party as much as I used to (old fogey! ). The last time we were in Disney while the MNSSHP was going on was in 2014. Our DD's boyfriend joined us on the trip so they went to the party while DH & I had a nice dinner date at California Grill and then had drinks at the monorail resorts.

We did two Halloween parties one year. Another year we did two Christmas parties. I LOVED it. Going twice gave me the freedom to take my time and really enjoy everything I did instead of worrying what time it was and if I'd get everything done I was hoping to. Especially at the Halloween party - we spent one night focused on meeting characters and the second night taking our time (and getting far too much candy).
This year we've worked our trip so we'll go to one of the last Halloween parties and one of the early Christmas parties. I think this will be fun -- but I do find myself hoping we can get everything done at each party without feeling rushed (which is when I remind myself how lucky I am to do both parties in one trip!).

If you can afford it, I say go for it. I don't think you'll regret it.

Do you guys pick a certain day of the week for your party based on crowds??? I will be there when there are 3. A Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday in Oct. (16th, 18th and 20th). I just got our tickets for Sunday the 16th now to choose between Tuesday or Thursday.

I don't have much choice based on party dates during my visit. I usually do Tuesday and Friday. Tuesday was definitely quieter last year than the Friday one. Every year is different though so I'd think it would be all guessing.
