Has anyone "gone home" over Labor Day weekend??

If so...how are the crowds and temps?? IS it hard to get a ressie for that weekend. Thanks

We went last year, the crowds were way less than I expected, more like the off season than a holiday weekend. We booked a studio at SSR about 6 weeks ahead. The temps were not too bad either, but that time of year the heat and humidy in the Philly area are on the uncomfortable side so I think we were somewhat used to it.

I would do it agian, it was a very relaxing trip. Have fun!!!

I am so excited to start planning our first SSR stay. I am trying to keep with the kids schedules for this next school year. I am pretty sure we will go in Jan. of 08 again like this year but I just can't wait til then. LOL SO I was thinking a quick Sept trip.......

We are used to going in Nov. and Jan....when it is not hot so I am sure this will be a shock for us. The last time we went in bad heat was our very first trip in 92.


I am sure I will change my mind a zillion times over the next few weeks trying to decide.

We went labor day weekend 2005 and it was very nice. The temps were in the 80's with a nice breeze, the park crowds were very manageable. (In our opinion we usually travel in July and the week before Christmas).

We stayed at the BCV and secured a studio less than a month out.
