Just a quick question has anyone from the uk ever got a us site PIN code and can we call and use the like they can in the u.s?

Just thinking it might work out cheaper with the current free dinning pin that they have right now but didnt want to ring and then be told we couldnt use them.
thanks

i've only ever heard one or two people on here say they've got a pin.

I get quite a lot of them. It is frustrating in a way because tempted as I am to sit it out, i can't afford to wait to book flights as the cost involved in waiting to book a flight a few months out will most probably nullify the savings of the offers.
If you are staying at a value resort the free dining pins are unbeatable. I looked at it seriously as we were going to do split stay with POP and free dining and then Poly and room discount, but we went with POFQ which was much better on the UK site than anything I have seen via a pin code so far.

I got another a couple of weeks back, just expired.

We do sometimes but we booked our 2009 holiday with US disney online.

how didi you manage to book through US site. whenever i go to the US site (either directly or through the international link) it will always redirect me to disneyuk when i try pricing a holiday up. is there a way around it?

Bottom left there is a drop box, drop it to USA:English and click go, should allow you to book on US site.

It's working for me. :confused3Did you click GO after you selected USA: English? I did this first (after logging in) and then went to the top right and selected tickets and packages and selected Book your vacation - it took me right onto the US site. Give it another go. tried it, back keeps sending me back to uk version.

There is a link that was posted a while back, I think I have it at home if no-one posts it before this evening. It overides the UK redirect.
Only other things you can do is try clearing your cookies and history or try a different browser, works OK using IE8 for me.

yes i've had them a few times as well but never been able to use them

We must be the unlucky ones, we are signed up on the US disney site under 4 different email address, had an annual pass for around 8 years and still nothing. We even call and ask if we've got a pain attached to our names which sometimes happens, just not for us..

Try running a few quotes on the US site (doesn't count on the UK one as the pins are US based). People have (albeit inconsistently) reported that this seems to have something to do with it.

In a nutshell however, getting onto the coveted pin mailing list is best described by two words: TOTALLY RANDOM :rolleyes1

Can't find the link, thought I had it :confused3
Any luck?
