Just thinking that our trip is coinciding with our starting a family-Just thinking that it would be the perfect place to spill the news to my dh (not that I am- but if I were at the time...) I mean I kind of see it as waiting in line for Splash Mtn and telling him I couldn't ride- you can see where it goes from here- Has anyone ever told their SO that they were going to become parents at WDW? Do you think that this is a BAD idea?
Dana;)

Dana, I think that would be just so cool but I guess it depends on how other people take that sort of news - I'd make sure you've got a bottle of water with you and perhaps worn a CM that a seat may be needed in the line - I, personally, think it would be great if you were by the time you get to WDW - if you know what I mean.

I would think it would depend on what kind of person your DH is. I know when I told mine it was an intensely private and personal moment, not one I would have wanted to share with anyone else. It's huge news and may take some 'sinking in', which could be difficult when you're getting ready to go on an attraction.

On the other hand, if he's the kind who would want to shout it out to everyone within hearing distance, it could be fun to tell him there. :)

I think it would be fun and romantic to tell him by Cinderella's Wishing Well. Make him toss in a coin and make a wish (he'll humor you like all good DHs do) and then you toss in a coin and tell him your wish has come true. Break the wonderful news then. It would be beautiful! :)

A really romantic place would be the beach walk between the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. It's quiet, private and an incredibly special area that few WDW visitors ever go to.
The castle is across the lagoon as well.

We found out about our now 11mo DD at WDW on X-mass eve!!! If anyone is wondering they have tests at the first aid station... or they went and got one for me.... I told DH in the middle of MGM Fest of lights with our other 3 kids present..... He called our parents and grandparents and He and the kids gave me a big kiss and yelled and wooped!!! It was great... My DH loves kids and is a loud guy so it fit us!:D
