Hello Everyone,

My husband and I will be heading to WDW with my brother, his wife and 3 daughters from January 3rd through 9th. I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to help me with something.

My sister-in-law and I are planning on placing an order with Amazon for things like breakfast bars, snacks, diapers and other necessities to have on hand so that we don't have to try to pack it all and take on the plane with us. We would have it shipped directly to our hotel (Pop Culture)

Is there anyone out there who has done this before? If so, how far in advance did you place your order with Amazon so that it arrived when you did? Will the hotel hold the package for a few days if it arrives early?

Anyone with any experience/advice to share regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!!!:santa:

I think you mean Pop Century. I recommend gardengrocer.com for a small delivery fee they will bring all the things you need directly to the resort for you. They will even bring milk, dairy products, fresh fruit, etc. I'm using them in 2 weeks!

Garden Grocer is a great option. There is also wegoshop.com and netgrocer. Netgrocer is usually more expensive.

wegoshop you have to figure out your own list and email it to them. However, they're able to get just about anything (including alcohol) that you need. Wegoshop and Garden Grocer charge about a $20 fee for delivery, plus whatever you choose to tip.

If you aren't using the Disney Magical Express to get to your hotel, there are also transportation options (like Happy Limo) who will pick you up at the airport, make a 1/2 hour grocery stop, then deliver you to your hotel for about $60 plus tip.

Rooms at POP don't have a refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker. Although for $10 more a day you can have a fridge.

gardengrocer.com is great. I suggest that over Amazon. Good luck!

I don't recommend Amazon for something like this. They can't guarantee it would arrive when you want it.

I'd stick with gardengrocer.com. They are great. :)

Thanks so much for all the advice. We do have the dining plan so we're not planning on ordering a whole lot of food supplies, maybe just some snack bars, bottles of water and such. the main thing that we will be ordering are diapers. My twin nieces are 18 months old and my sister-in-law doesn't wnat to load down her suitcase with enough diapers for a week.

Any suggestions as to how far in advance we should place our order and how to address it so that it arrives at the correct hotel?

Thanks again in advance!!:santa:

We used Garden Grocer last trip, and I was so nervous. I worried that the order wouldn't be correct, that it wouldn't arrive on time, and boy was I impressed! Prompt, courteous, correct items, I would recommend them and use them again. The ordering process allows you to choose your resort. I gave them my cell phone number and they called me before they came so I knew my stuff was on the way! We did this for diapers too, too bulky to fly with! I believe there is a $50 order minimum, then a delivery fee. It was still worth it to us!

We emailed gardengrocer.com a couple days ago and they said it was a $40 minimum. We basically just want a case of bottled water and a few snacks. Not $40 worth of stuff...so i don't know what we're going to do. I really need water though.
