I wouldn't waste my time writing to my governor......... Mitt Romney. He is no friend of education. I do however write to my my local state rep with issues and concerns.

I sent a long letter to our "friend" Mitt regarding cuts in the DOmestic Violence/Rape Crisis Programs and received some form letter that had nothing to do with my letter and one of his stooges signed! Someone told me I should consider myself lucky I got any reply.....huh?

It sounds like it's time to vote Mitt out of office!

My neighbor sent an email to Governor Bush's office and they actually called him twice. I'm hoping to get a response from them. I'll let you all know if I do.

All MA governors send you form letters...they rarely see anything from their constituents. You are better off writing to you local reps and senators if you want to get a response.

Gov. Bush is well known for his personal responses to email. Heck, he has even showed up on people's doorsteps to address the situation with them

My son did this a couple of years ago while working on his Boy Scouts Communications Merit Badge. He wrote the then governor of Penna. his thoughts on year round school. (Of course my son is opposed! ) He got a letter back within a couple of weeks stating that it wasn't up to the governor and who my son could contact to voice his thoughts.
