Has anyone ever utilized "Give a Gift"?

As I anxiously await my upcoming trip this August, I am of course planning every last detail so that it will be perfect. This will be my DP's (Janette), first time to Disney. Though she keeps saying we are going to celebrate my 30th B-Day, I would also like to celebrate her 1st Trip She has expressed that she would like to start pin trading. She also said personalized Mickey Ears are a must! I thought of having a gift(s) delivered to our room. Has anyone every used "Give a Gift"? Do you pick only from the gifts show on the site or could I request a gift such as a lanyard with pins? I have seen the "welcome" basket with the Mickey Ears, but I think she might want to build her own at the Chapeau Hat Shoppe. What does everyone think? I would love some opinions and ideas!!
