I have been checking out the roomsaver.com website and they seem to have some pretty good deals for walk ins on hotel rooms. Has anyone used them and had any luck? I am considering using a coupon for the hotel in transit to WDW. I usually try to have my reservations for hotels booked before I leave for vacation but with these coupons you can not book in advance. Can anyone give me info on their experience with these web site and their coupons?

I've used them from the book itself and was able to use it. There are some really good prices. You can find the books at the rest stops all over the highway if you prefer to have the book in hand or just print out the coupons off the website.. there are a few different versions, roomsaver
traveler and another one. They are all from roomsaver.com though. Good luck

I used roomsavrs.com coupons in August when we drove to WDW. On the way down, we used it - no problem, great rate. On the way back, we were told that there were no rooms available at that rate. They did end up giving us a small discount, but not the coupon rate.
This time in June, I am using my Holiday Inn Priority points and booked a free night at HI Express for the way down and the way home.

I used roomsavers.com coupons all the time when we used to visit Branson, Mo. I was always able to call ahead and make reservations.

Just know, that often, the coupons are for the smallest rooms (ie. only one queen size bed) and usually inconviently located (ie. on the very top floor of the hotel).

Good luck.

My DH and I have used them and have had success most of the time. We've stayed at new hotels using the coupons. It gets a little tougher on weekends but mostly it's been positive. I have booked hotel rooms for our next trip using a combination of Priceline, hotel websites with discounts and intend to use roomsaver coupons during our trip. Last year, we only reserved one hotel room upon arrival and the rest of the trip was done with roomsaver coupons.

One thing, it's just DH and I so I think it's easier for us than a larger group. My DH recommends that if you're in the vicinity you can call ahead to ask if they have any rooms available rooms for the coupon offer The coupon has hotel phone number. He also gets more than one book in case you lose it during your trip or need to use another one for the same hotel you may really like and they request a coupon for each stay. :D
