Beth,
No, I haven't but I have watched the infomercial and thought--that is me!
I have, however, read her book. I am not sure what it is called. My neighbor has it right now. It was very good and she is helpful, I think.
I was reading in O magazine this month about relaxation/anxiety and the different drugs that you can take for it.
Usually I am not anxiety ridden every day. (I may have a bad spell for several days where I am all keyed up) but mostly, for me, it is situations that cause the panic to come. Such as flying, riding in a car(esp. in the back) or a bus. I suppose that is all about not being in control. And I don't like to go out to eat very much.

I can go & feel fine when I get there & be 1/2 way through a meal and this feeling of doom washes over me & I want to just leave the place before I get sick (I have never been sick though--but I feel sick). So, as I was reading the article it sounded like xanax was the right thing for me to be taking because it is mostly for situations & works within 20 mins. Paxil was something to take for generalized anxiety disorder. Take it everyday and I suppose it builds up in your system or something and works in a different way. Although I am very afraid of the xanax becasue of addiction, I know that since I push myself to do things w/o any most of the time, I think I can avoid becoming addicted. I have had the same prescription for about 3 years ( I asked the doctor if it was still OK to take & he said yes, fine) & it works the same as always. All of this runs in my family so I am not alone in the fight of this.
I do agree with SplashMtn99-- panic attacks are the worst.
Let me know what you decide about the tapes. I would be interested to know also. Good luck.
