Has anyone ever stayed for 2 weeks?

This year we stayed for two weeks at Christmas, although one week was in a studio at SSR, then we changed over to a two bedroom when the kids and their families arrived. Next year we are staying in a grande villa at OKW for a week before switching to a one bedroom for the second week. We spend lots of time doing other things besides the park. We shop, golf, sightsee, shop, play cards, spend lots of time at the pools, go to the movies, and EAT. We found this year that it was horribly crowded over New Year's, so next year we aren't planning to do the Parks at all around New Year's. We will read by the pool, if it's sunny.:beach:

Since our child has grown up, my wife and I have been doing 2 weeks every year since 2000. Always the last week of Feb. and first week of March in a 1 bedroom.

Most of the time, we spend one week at BWV and one week at SSR. Before SSR we would stay at OKW, or WLV for our second week.

Very relaxing and nice to just spend a few hours at the parks, a few hours downtown, and a few hours by the pool. We take lots of walks around different resorts, and do some pool-hopping, walk or rent bikes at WLV and go over to Fort Wilderness. Check out the horses, etc.

It's nice to just sit at the parks on our favorite benches with a cold beer or an ice cream (depending on the park) and watch people rush from one place to another.

We have stayed for 2 weeks and are doing it again this year. For us, it is the best way because you can relax a lot more and experience a variety of things that WDW has to offer aside from the parks. We just get a 8 or 10 day pass, which allows us to do each park at least 2 times. If you add park hoppers to those, then at the end of the trip you can do any final "must do" activities in a few different parks (shopping, rides, fireworks). It also gives us plenty of time to do various character breakfasts or dinners at various restaurants. Plus the kids can take advantage of other things like the pirate cruise.

We are not tired of it by the time we go home because there wasn't the "big rush" to do it all at once. Besides, we know that we will be back again to try some other activities at a leisurely pace. DH and I are actually looking at staying for 4 weeks once the kids are gone and our points stretch further.:goodvibes

We stayed for 2 weeks the week of and after Thanksgiving. For the really crowded days I planned 'hard ticket' events- La Nouba, Discovery Cove, etc so the crowd factor would be a non-issue.

We usually stay for 10 days but we like to go atleast 4 times a year. This year we were there in Jan, July, Sept and November. 10 days at a time is really all my kids and husband can escape for so we just like to spread the weeks out during the year.
