This summer I wrote a Trip report during August. I traveled with 2 other families and they both knew I was writing a trip report. Well, both families have been bugging me about me printing it so they can read it. I finally gave it to one of the families yesterday and they are angry with me. Now this family loves reading trip reports that are posted online. I usually cut and paste the ones I really love and pass it on to them (none of them have computers)

Everyone knows that Trip reports are "based" off of true stories. I'm sure some of you who write them overexaggerate stories and situations for a better read. And as a person who loves to read them - I appreciate that. I told them as I was writting notes that some time I would over do it a little, but to get angry with me come on. I poked fun at my self and husband more than anything. If I had to pick a villian in my reports it would be me. I wrote about divorcing my husband using Disney Dollars and even killing him. I was just wondering if anyone else has made this same stupid mistake.

I loved reading your trip reports, who doesn't get mad at your husband when your on vacation.

I don't care if you exaggerated, you had me laughing so hard at times I had tears coming out of my eyes. Maybe it should be called Trip Reports, but WDW Trip Report-Stories.

You stayed in a house about in the same area we rented and hearing about your hurricane experience was pretty good.

I enjoyed your trip reports and I would hope to see more from you in the future.

As for the negative reactions from certain family members, I guess that is to be expected but hopefully they'll get over themselves soon.

Hmmm.. maybe the reason we all use screen names is to cloud who we really are. I don't believe trip reports are admissable for evidence.... just for enjoyment!!

Don't let them spoil your fun!! or invite them to write a rebuttal!!

I loved reading your reports - thanks for sharing!

I loved reading your trip report. Very funny.

Tell them we knew it was tongue-in-cheek. I mean you were looking for a lawyer to take Disney dollars!!

Thank you - we had a "meeting" this weekend and I think they understood after reading Zurg's trip report. Drama makes for a better read. Besides, this is the last time I will ever share my trip report outside of this board. And I gave them another one that they said was boring (in other words - no drama)!!! Go figure!!!
