Has Anyone Ever Seen A Celebrity In Wdw

OMG!!!! I never thought I would see those words in print!!! I remember that I used to have to go to bed as soon as Evening Magazine was over! Oh yeah, and my dad was on it once in a segment about hang gliding.

Evening Magazine! You made my week!
I'm trying to remember-wasn't Evening Magazine on at 7:00 or 7:30? If so, you must have been a child then-I feel so old!

I have a funny story. In 92', my ex wife and I were at disney on our honeymoon. We had a camcorder with us and of course we filmed everything we possibly could. The trip ended and we returned home.

About a week later we had the tape out, watching the section that had MGM on it, when she suddenly gasped, jumped up, and pointed at the T.V. I didnt see what she was talking about, so she just played the tape back and said watch closely.

I couldnt believe my eyes, not 20 feet in front of me while I filmed the entrance to the great movie ride, sly stallone with three other folks in tow walked by, and we didnt even notice him while we were there.

hmmmm.......Mickey Mouse? Sorry, couldn't resist. After all, is there really anyone that would be more important to see at WDW than the Mouse?!

I absolutely agree!!!! Love that mouse! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

My DH and I were on the Monorail with Robert Englund (Freddie Krueger) in 1997.......My DH was all excited and I was like whatever!
I used to work in the airline industry as a gate agent and would see some celebs from time to time. I also worked at a couple different sports/concert venues and actually worked with celebs. My favorites were Aerosmith, Paul McCartney, and the Barenaked Ladies!

I love Paul McCartney. I met him when he guess starred on SNL. He was in a sketch when Alec Baldwin hosted & Christina Aguilera was Musical Guest. I was inside the building after the show & Lorne Michaels came out & he was with Paul. I was on a high for weeks or even a few months after that.

I also love this thread. Has anyone seen any lately?

He was cruising Animal Kingdom in January, when we walked by him and his friend.

He was gracious to give autographs, talk story, and take pictures with.

At Disneyland I've spotted:
The Olsen Twins (when they were about 12 years old)
Jim McMahon (Chicago Bears)
Lex van den Berghe from Survivor Africa, & Survivor All Stars

This was actually at Universal. I saw and talked to Robin Williams. We were in the baby swap line and he and 2 boys (about 10-12 yrs old?) waited in that line for special entrance to Dueling Dragons. That was in 2002.

On Saturday February 23, we saw Peggy Fleming doing the Kali River Rapids
ride, at AK, multiple times, no poncho and quite wet:thumbsup2

Gary Sinese was there to narrate the Candlelight Processional, I actually got to preform with him about 5 feet infront of me. I use to be a big fan so it was pretty neat.

My only spotting was Drew Carey with some attractive young woman on the dance floor at 8 Trax at PI. Friend of mine use to work there and we were up in the DJ booth at the time so we had a good view of the floor. Got to see the feet they had on the floor in the booth showing where Micheal Jackson and Micheal Eisner had stood up there also. This had to be back around 99-00, don't remember the exact year.

While we were outside Pepper Market at CSR on March 13th, we saw the janitor from Scrubs. My son went up to him and asked if that was who he was and it was !! I asked my son and he said "no that would stupid". Typical 15 year old teenager response. Then the Osmond Family was at MK on Friday the 14th. Didn't realize who they were until we got home and saw a segment on ET about the Osmonds being at MK.

Saw Sasha Mitchell from Step-By-Step (he played Cody, the "codeman") at DLR New Years Day '08.

We saw Rob Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice:cool2: . He was behind us in line on BTM. He was really nice and then we saw him again on Main St pushing a stroller.

We saw the kind of heavy set guy, that was a co-worker of Jimmy's (they were security guys at the studio) on "Yes, Dear" eating at Crystal Palace last September.
