Has Anyone ever rented a scooter from AppleScooter?

Trying to find a good deal on a scooter rental. Came across Apple Scooter online, has any one ever rented from them? Your thoughtplease? Or any other suggestions.

Post 2 of that thread is about renting wheelchairs and ECVs and includes links to the companies used most often and recommended most by DIS posters.
Apple is one of the recommended companies listed there.

I have and they were very friendly and efficient. I had a situation and they were very accommodating.

Us too! Renting from them again next week. I had one of the reps cell number in case of issues. Very customer service friendly and wonderful!

I have rented from them twice and highly recommend them... I did have a slight problem with them last year, but it could have happened with any company as it was a computer issue... they took care of it quickly and effiencently. While I was on the phone with them it came up that even though I had already returned my ECV that due to a medical emergency with a family member, I was still in Florida. They offered to help, first by using an ECV... however, I only needed that for stamina in the parks and turned it down.... they then offered a case of root beer!!! I was kind of dumbfounded with this offer, but it touched me!!!!

We have used them on our last trip, and had no issues at all with them. We called them at about 3pm that day and when we got back to the resort later that night, it was there waiting for us. I also called them one time when my own personal scooter had issues and they did all they could do to help. I thought that was AWESOME for any company, especially when it wasn't even their scooter.

we used them last october and we had rented till 7 pm on the friday but ended up needing it till 7 on the saturday. I called to see if it was possible they were so nice and they didn't even charge me I was expecting to pay for an extra day. my dad is over 6 ft so i wasn't sure how the scooter would be but it was excellent and held a charge. if we ever need one again we will call apple

Have used Apple in the past but have used Walker Mobility the last couple of years. Walker has lower rates and scooters have never given us a problem, we did have a flat in Epcot 2 years ago but Walker had it repaired in less than 30 minutes INSIDE the park, they keep people on Disney property for super quick service. Just rented from them end of March and they were over $30 a week lower than Apple.
BTW-If you have the time take the Kennedy Space Center Tour, really great day away and they know allow access to the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) which is amazing in itself.

ok... not saying anything against walker (cause I have never used them), but I compared prices and don't see how walker can be cheaper....

Looking at the Heavy Duty models....
Walker is $39 a day
Apple is $50 for a single day
However, for 3 days or more their rates drop significantly....
3 - Days ... $ 100
4 - Days ... $ 120
5 - Days ... $ 140
6 - Days ... $ 160
7 - Days ... $ 175

I usually rent for 5 days.... with Apple is my cost is $140
looks to me like walker would cost me around $195... unless they offer a discount for multiple days (doesn't show on website)...

Then for Apple insurance is included.. don't know about Walker on that.
I just rented for my scooter for my trip... 5 days w/tax is $149.10
