Has anyone ever missed an ADR on Christmas because parks were filled

We will be spending our first Christmas at WDW this year. Several people have suggested not going to the parks because they will be so crowded. We were considering getting the earliest possible breakfast somewhere, and leaving if we have to. (We have 4 kids) Has as anyone ever missed an ADR because they couldn't get into the parks? Thanks!

We have not because we plan accordingly. Our friends had adr at LTT on xmas day for 6:30pm and arrived at MK at 5:30 and we not admitted because park was at max capacity (when it is closed to even resort guests, they were staying at CBR). They could have waited to see when the departing crowds allowed them to enter, but they headed back to their resort instead. We have been for the past 4 xmas and we do not go to a park on xmas day...we have great resort breakfast(late) and relax, tour DTD, see a movie, then dinner at resort(CG, Boma and Artist Point). we like avoiding the craziness.
