Has anyone ever had their luggage NOT be there before dinner??

We have cruised DCL several times and our luggage has always been in the room by 2:30 or 3:00 pm the latest.

Has anyone NOT had their luggage their before dinner. Just trying to see if it's necessary to carry clothes for dinner onboard versus sending it through.

i have been on several cruises now, and not all DCL, but I have always had my luggage delivered well ahead of dinner...

The latest ours arrived was 5:00, still time to get changed for the early seating

Never a problem having clothes for dinner but do carry on the swimwear if kids want to hit the pool right away!

Our first cruise, we did not get our luggage until 7PM. We had early dinner, so it was shorts for us!! Our other 3 cruises, our luggage has gotten there really, really early. We wondered if it was the difference of taking the buses (we did the first time) or driving ourselves.
