I feel very bad for my sister. We lost our father when she was 19. I am 9 years older than her. She was very close to him so when he died it was devastating to her. He was only 52. He died in front of her and my husband. They both tried to save him. He had a massive heart attack. Now she's married and has a child of her own. She has become obsessed with thoughts of something happening to her little girl. She needed therapy after my father died. She wouldn't do it though. Now she has extreme paniac attacks. She can't drive a car, or somedays be left alone. Her heart races so fast she thinks she is having a heart attack. She is on medication but I think it needs to be stronger. She feels she's going to die. I think this is because of these paniac attacks. Has anyone had these? Any suggestions or advice you could give.

! Medication DOES help. It can take a long time to find just the right magic bullet, but once it's found, it really works. Sometimes it's a certain combination of meds, sometimes the dose needs to be tweaked many times before there's success.
