Has anyone ever had anything stolen?

When my kids for 9 months old--Aug 2001, we took them on their first trip to WDW. On day in Epcot we were carrying them in the backpack carriers. We had our camera in it and it had all of their first trip rolls of film in the case and it was stolen from us. It was very upsetting. That is the one and only time we ever had anything like that happen. We have enjoyed our MANY trips since then.

Has anyone ever had anything stolen out of your stroller? I will take my camera but I was wondering about everything else. A friend of my husbands had their video camera bag stollen out of a stroller- just curious if that happens alot(which I would never leave my camera in the stroller).

we had a water bottle fan we had just bought at mgm and left in a stroller and we had paid 17.00.....came back after riding and it was gone......

I have left my stuff in strollers over & over again and never had one bit of a problem. The only time I had a problem was the day we took everything with us & left the stroller "naked." It was a Wal-Mart umbrellas stroller & someone took the whole stroller! I still say they thought is was theirs.

If they thought it was theirs, wouldn't there have been an extra one like it sitting around?

Not from a stroller, but someone stole our DRYER - LOL!

We'd been to Blizzard Beach, and got caught in a downpour. Our beach towels got soaked, so I had to use the dryer at POP to dry them. I put them in the dryer, and we went off to eat at the food court. And when I went back to check on them, they were MOVED to a different dryer, and they weren't any drier than they had been when I put them in!

:rotfl2: That is pretty funny. I'd just be glad that they didn't help themselves to the towels too. :rolleyes1

We've never had anything stollen. Our first trip I was super nervous so my DH or I would take our backpack on every ride. Our second trip, we took 2 backpacks. We'd put all the "can't lose" stuff in one backpack, like the gifts, and take that on the rides. The other one would just have diapers, wipes, snack etc in it and we'd leave it with the stroller.

After reading this post, I'm nervous about my stroller being stolen. Yikes!

Actually, there were. It was a Winnie the Pooh stroller from Wal-Mart and there were about 100 of them but we inspected about 35 & they all had diaper bags in them. I gave up looking at that point. The stroller gods had reorganized strollers outside Mission Space in Epcot & it was so frustrating. That's why I knew someone took it accidentaly. And why I was cursing myself for not putting something bright yellow (or lime green;) ) on the handles.

On Labor Day weekend last year we had a VERB backpack purse stolen off the stroller outside of POTC. It had my son's autograph book and pen, a special Mickey washcloth I carry in the parks for wiping our faces, and about 40-45 trading pins. My son's whole collection at the time was in there. I think it was some kids/teenagers that had seen us putting our pins in, because there were tons of strollers with stuff in them all around us, and nothing else appeared to be messed with. At least the pins were purchased on Ebay so we were out less than $100, but I was really upset about my son's sautograsphs. I did find out if you go to City Hall at MK you can request to have an autograph book sent to you free of charge as a replacement. They actually went in the back and came out with one (not near as nice as he had, but hey, it was free and a very nice gesture). You could still smell the ink, so I think the nice CM signed all the names and brought it out, there are signatures in there of characters I have NEVER seen out in the parks in all the times we have gone :) Now we carry the backpack in with us on all rides. Our cameras were with us the whole time luckily, and I have since replaced my son's lanyard and all the pins he had.
