Started out with the school bus getting in a wreck in front of my house. Had to use my I.D. to get my son off, who was the last one to get on!! Everyone was Ok!

Then.....had to take ds#3 (age 7) and ds#4 (age 6) for haircuts after school and while I was taking ds#4 in, ds#3 was still watching the end of his movie. (I parked directly in front of the salon) I stood at the door for 15 minutes waiting for her to start cutting ds's hair! Appt. was for 3:15 and she started at 3:35. Ds's #2 (age 10) and #1 (age 12) get out at 3:30!! Well, in the meantime ds#3 had gotten out of the car and come inside!! The hairstylist is my neighbor so I was going to leave both boys there while I ran to the school to get the oldest! I go to get in my car and my son has locked me out with the car on and my cell phone inside!!!!!!!!! Now. the cell phone is important b/c ds#2 is riding his bike home and is supposed to call me when he gets there! So now I am going into panick mode!!!!

I call my dh's office and he is busy and can he call me back?!!!! NOT good enough!! I have his secretary get his keys and come bail me out!! I call home from the salon and ds#2 is there and begs me to go to his friends grandparents home! Well, ok, but give me the number there!! I will call you when I get my cell phone back ! You better be there!!!! Now, ds#4 is thru with his haircut, she finally gets there to unlock my doors and I am on my way to get ds#1. While on the way I call ds#2 and the number he and his friend give me is NO good!!!!!!! So, I am 25 min. late picking up ds#1 and now I have let ds#2 go somewhere and I don't know where!!!:earseek: Stress, Stress, Stress!!!! I go back to pick up ds#3 from his haircut and on my way home ds#2 calls me! So now I have all my children and I can stop hyperventilating!! I don't handle stressful situations very well and I am probably too over protective!! God help me!!

Anyone else ever have days like this??????

Sorry Long Post!!!! Thanks for the vent!! Sorry if it is too confusing to follow!!!!

Thanks! Yes, there are four of them!! After I reread my post I realized it was real confusing to follow!!! Sorry!!

You poor thing, we have all days like that. Relaz now if you can.

Here is the problem -- too many kids. Yes my day was similar with three. Came home at 7:30 from track practice to a bunch of strange bikes in my garage, hadn't eaten dinner yet, DH is on computer and DS #2 is watching TV and telling me they are going in for a little hot tub dip. I say no way and he pitches a fit, meanwhile I'm looking at DH like are you insane, get these kids out of here!!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like you handled this very well. Some people would have just broken down and stood around with their mouths open.

Good for you.
