measured almost 42 inches at home in sneakers be turned away from a ride with a 40 inch height requirement?

My ds is a small 4 1/2 and is barely 42 inches with his shoes on. He is almost 41 inches without shoes. He is so excited toride Big Thunder and Splash. I have heard that 40 inches isn't really 40 inches at Disney. Do you think he'll make it on everything? I have been showing him how to stand big and tall.

FWIW we won't be going on TOT, but pretty much everythign else he is tall enough for.

well last time we went we didnt realize that ds was 40" because just 5 months before he had been turned away and told to eat more veggies. so on tthe last day he asked about splash mtn. he made it, since it was the last day we didnt have time to measure anything else. but he is only 41 1/4 " as of his last well visit and this time he wants to try everything. fingers crossed for you and me. good luck

Last year my DS(now5) was just 40in. We had no problem at all getting him on any rides. I don't even remember any CM's measuring him. He went on splash mt., ToT etc. No problems.:)
