We are flying to WDW on Saturday, and using Magical Express, so we won't be getting to a grocery store. Does anyone know if you can fly with juice boxes? I know this sounds sort of rediculous, but one of my children is really weird about what kind of juice he'll drink (only juicy juice), and I don't know if we'll find it down there.

We've packed some in our carry-on for the plane, in the airport, etc. Never checked some, though. I'd be afraid a box would get punctured & rupture all over my luggage.

Have you checked out any of the grocery delivery services to see if they have the juice you need? I'm using www.gardengrocer.com this trip & they're delivering some Juicy Juice for us. I think they only had apple & white grape on their site, but I bet if you ask them, they can get you another flavor.

I checked them on my last trip. I just put them in a large tupperware-type container just so I had peace of mind that they wouldn't leak. I will tell you that they are heavy. With a baggage limit of about 50lbs per bag, for something so small, it weighted a lot and you will need to be careful not to go over your weight limit.

I flew with them both in my checked luggage and in my carry-on. I put them in ziploc bags in case they leaked. They didn't though. :)

I have had them say something about my luggage over 50 pounds and they made me take some out of one and into another.. big mess... Also.. we took capri suns on the plane.. no problem.

Yeah, they'll check your 50+ lb bag, but they'll charge you $25 to do it. Othewise, you can transfer stuff to a lighter bag. Believe me, 50 lbs adds up fast, especially in a big suitcase.

Sorry to get off topic...we plan on putting our juice boxes (and other food) in the carryon. ::yes::

Over the years, I've packed pretty much everything at some point or another, including juices and sodas. I've never had a problem.

We checked a hardshell plastic suitcase with juiceboxes and assorted breakfast bars inside and had no trouble. All the juiceboxes were still sealed inside the plastic-wrapped package from the store, and we layered everything so it wouldn't shift around, since luggage gets treated pretty roughly when tossed into the cargo area. :earsboy:

Ok I would take an extra bag with just the juice boxes. Try not to look like they are weighing U down. :rotfl: I put my heavy items in the carryon. within reason. I also take an extra suitcase with goodies down this way I have a nice empty one to fill with souvies for the trip home.

sorry I can not remember seeing juicy juice. I have seen juice boxes with the kids meals I think.

Try buying the Juicy Juice concentrate - comes in an aluminum can (like soda). Much less to pack and much lighter, too! You can mix it with water in your hotel room - use the ice bucket!

I put a capri sun in my carryon. Not in a baggie or anything. all of a sudden i found a wet spot coming from my back pack.. Didn't think much of it. thought it was ice that the kids had spilled on the floor.

Come home and 3 days later unpacking the carry on and it was an exploded juice box and had started to mildew on the extra clothes I packed.. I learned my lesson. to always put them in a ziplock!!!!

I had at least four in our carry-on. Then we ordered from gardengrocer and had two twelve packs of juicy juice sent to the room. It was so helpful to have juices available in parks and at the room.

I always pack juices and snacks when we go. I put everything in plastic bags in case of leaks, but I've always checked them through and never had a problem. The other fantastic thing about this system is that during your trip you eat and drink all those snacks and juices and throw away the containers, which leaves you empty space in your luggage for all your Disney souvenirs!

I checked them in a leak proof ziploc. DD doesn't care for the wide variety of juices out there. I brought what she likes and had no problems! :thumbsup2
