Has anyone ever done a childs clothing swap kind of thing on these boards?

Im not sure how it would work, but the couponers do it.

Something that states what you have available (size, condition, brand, etc) and you send it to another DIS'er for free (you have to pay shipping of course). Chances are, the person you send to wont have clothes to swap with your child, but someone else will.

eBay is so fruitless for most things now. Their fees are so much, then PayPal fees, and now they charge fees on your shipping. Its just not worth it to list because you cant make any money.

Maybe like a little congregation of clothes swappers to help each other out with school coming up. I don't think the items have to be new, but they need to be in good enough shape that a kid can wear to school. You couldnt send the whole batch to every person and let them pick out what they want because it would be too costly, but I'd certainely be willing to pay $5-$8 shipping to send someone a box of clothes my son has outgrown if I was in a group where I could potentially get someone to ship me some too.

Any thought on this? Pros - cons?
