We are planning to do the Stingray City Charter and were going to charter our own boat. Has anyone ever down this before because it a little expensive. Any help would be great!!!

Yes, we've charted the a Sailboat throughCayman Islands Discounts Stingray City Private Charters . We used the 39ft sailboat because we had 6 adults and 5 kids between our three families.

It is a little more money but worth every penny as you get to call the shots as too how long you stay at every snorkeling spot and you can even do a little sailing, they showed us how to do it as I've always wanted to know how to sail

There is a 32ft sailboat as well and its actually a better deal (but it only fits 8 and we were 11), it includes your transportation and it is also 3.5hrs and includes your gear.

Private is definitly the way to go if you have a good sized group!
