Has anyone ever broken their toe's?

Turns out I have broken several of mine.... ouch!

Ouch is right. My DD6 broke her big toe last fall.

I've broken the fourth toe on my right foot a couple of times. DH insists on using a brick (left over from when the builder was bricking our house) as a doorstop. I am somewhat clumsy and I always manage to catch it as I trip over the brick. I have also rammed it into table legs and doorframes, which didn't break it but really really hurt.

Yes, I broke my pinky toe when I was a teenager. It really hurts.

I have broken all of my toes, except the two big ones. I have broken the 4 smallest ones so many times they can't even move anymore.

It hurts!

I dropped a frozen turkey on my foot one time.....YIKES, very painful, broke pretty much every bone in my foot and was very embarrassed in the ER still hurts in rainy weather

I broke my pinkie toe once and it was one of the most painful things. My toe and the surrounding area turned many shades of purple and blue.

Sorry to hear that you have broke yours, hope they heal quickly.

used to break mine all the time on pointe...but danced on them....i have strange feet now, people call them hobbit feet. and every so often im a hobbit.

they do hurt and they dont really do much for them so

My son broke 3 toes. Ouch. It was over 2 years ago and he still has occasional pain from them. They also go out in odd directions.

Ive broken all of my toes. Some more then once. OUCH. Nothing you can do but tape them up and try to walk. BUMMER!

I broke two toes while playing touch football without any shoes on in the summer on lawn that had just been watered...I slipped and fell and broke two toes and talk about FREAKIN painful...aahhh...and I was on vacation...MISERABLE

funny you should mention it but I broke my pinky toes on both feet several times. The last time it did not heal correctly and I got stuck wearing ugly shoes for YEARS! Just last May I had my toe operated on and it took almost 4 months to wear real shoes but it is WORTH IT. Be careful if it still hurts when it should be healed it could be cracked like mine and you could need surgery. Do not put it off....there are so many good shoes and so little time!!

Ahhh...is it MAGICAL....

Broken toes! Oh yes.

One time, I fell down a flight of stairs, and broke three toes on my left foot.

Another time, I dropped a cast iron pot on my left big toe, and broke it (OUCH!).

And then there was the time that I fell down another flight of stairs, and broke two toes on my right foot. (Yes, I am accident prone)

And then the time I jammed my foot into a doorway and broke my pinky toe, right foot.

There's nothing to do for broken toes but to tape them to the other toes, and wait for them to heal.
