Has anyone ever bought an AP at MCO?

I'm flying in on Friday and need to buy an AP. It seems like the airport would be more convenient than going to a park (plus I'll need it to check in with the AP discount). Is it fairly easy to get one at MCO? And, to reassure my DH, is it the same price as the gate? He insists that they mark everything up at the airport, but I said that surely it has to be the same price everywhere.

I haven't bought one there, but I can assure you that they are the EXACT same price at the airport that they are on property.

I would assume that it's no more difficult to get one at the airport than it is anywhere else.

Just keep in mind that you will be getting the actual pass (not a voucher) at the airport. Your year will start on the day you buy.

I purchased mine there without any problems. It's the same price you would pay at the gate.

I bought my there last May, it was very straight forward process. It's the same price as it was on the website and gate. The only problem I encountered was that the CM was elderly and had a difficult time hearing what I was saying. I just ended up writing down everything for her so I didn't have to repeat myself three times. She was very nice otherwise

Does anyone know the hours for the earport and if you can do an upgrade there or only onsite

7 AM to 10 PM. You cannot do upgrades, voucher exchanges, or any other transaction that requires Guest Relations there. You can only purchase tickets.

We've purchased them at the airport a few times. It's always been quick & easy. They are the same price as at the gate--they even used to give the Magic Kingdom Card & Disney Club discounts there. You can also pick up park brochures to read on your way to the resort.
