Is it really high? Is it fun? Did it make you sick? Was it expensive? Was it really high up??????

We went parasailing in FL and it was fun! It was about $65 a person. It was really high and it didn't make me sick. I'm not prone to motion sickness or anything either. It was a good way to see a lot of the shoreline. It was fun but I think I would rather jet ski or something as I'm the more adventures type. We wanted to see what it was like with only a hour or so to kill. I would recommend doing it.

we did it at the Contemporary Resort at WDW, I don't remember how much it was but we all loved it! it was pretty high but it was fun. My 5 year old nephew did it too, he said it was his favorite part of the trip

I went several times for free. My dad used to be the Police Chief and every summer us bratty Police Chief kids would get VIP treatment while our dads were at their conferences. i loved parasailing and you definitely can't beat the price of FREE! :thumbsup2

I went parasailing in Aruba 2 years ago. We paid approx 50.00 per person. I wasn't crazy about the idea. I am not the sort that does that type of thing. Just getting on the boat was a huge accomplishment for me since I am prone to motion sickness. But I figured I was there to celebrate 40th b-day, just do it!
Well, it is very high up, but the views were amazing! Did I get motion sickness?.........YES! It was very herky-jerky up there.I tried to focus on something and I think that did help somewhat. I couldn't wait to get down. I didn't vomit, but i didn't feel terrific either. I took the shuttle boat back to the beach with the group that went ahead of us and left my boyfriend and our friends on the boat until they had their turns. They didn't get sick.
It took me about an hour and a half before I was back to myself.
Am I glad I did it? Absolutely! Will I ever do it again? Not a chance. LOL

I did it at Castaway Cay and also in Nassau at Atlantis.....totally cool :thumbsup2 Not that high, you don't get a tummy tickle. In Nassau, I went up tandam with my sister...we had both been drinking all day (go figure)...we get up there, she is strapped behind me and she says...."I have to pee.".....I said, "Well there isn't much you can do about it up here so you might as well go." :rotfl2: She peed on me :guilty: I really thought she could have aimed better  I'm still plotting my revenge :teeth:

 :scared: :scared1: :lmao:

My hubby and I went parasailing in Turks and Caicos. It was VERY high up and we both felt sick. We went tandom as well. (but no one peed on the other) I believe urinating on someone else crosses some boundaries that I just don't find pleasing! :rotfl2: :lmao: Anyway, we were very high up and we both felt nauseated. Thankfully neither of us threw up but my hubby did have to go back to our room for an hour or so to lie down so he'd feel better.

I'm still glad I did it though!!

I did it many years ago in the Bahamas and had a great time. I do normally get motion sickness and I was fine the entire time. Our's was very smooth and the views were wonderful. Maybe it just depends on the wind that day?

I bet the wind does have a lot to do with it. Maybe if we have a really calm day as far as wind is concerned I'll do it.

And Cantw8--- dude.

Yes. I tried it at the French Riviera and LOVED it! The scenery was gorgeous and it was fun....:)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: It must've been the direction of the wind. For a minute I thought I was reading one of Angel's posts. Sounds like something that would happen only to her. :rotfl:

I went about 4 years ago in NC (outer banks Ocracoke Island.) It was pretty $ I think, but worth it. (around $75 I think) I went tandem with my then 12 year old nephew. It was super fun, not scary at all and so beautiful. It was actually ver peaceful being up that high over the water, They did "dip" us in the water too. It was a great experience. On our boat there was a group of women around 60 years old (or more) that were doing it too. They were really funny.

I loved it. I would do it again in a heart beat. :thumbsup2

(DH stayed back at the condo with then 1 year old DD.) He could see us from the deck though.

I am not sure I would do it at WDW, because there is so much more to do, but Ocracoke, there isn't that much besides the beach, shopping and eating. (all fun, but a great change of pace.)

Oh and no one peed on anyone else! :cool1:
