Has anyone ever been a product tester?

I am not sure if this is the right board to post this on but, I was interested in doing product testing or secret shopping as a way to put aside extra money for our WDW trip. Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with these?

done both. I take surveys online and I was asked to test a product at home. It was fun and easy and I earned points and a check. The mystery shopping was fairly easy to do but the paperwork that had to be filled out took forever. I live in a rural area, so for me, it wasn't worth the 2 hours out and then the 1 hour back at home on the computer....for $25. But other people have had great success. I think if I didn't have to travel so far to do it...very often deadlines are used so it's hard to lump them in with other trips to town......It would be better.

I do the online surveys & got a product a few weeks ago to test. Just got the online survey about that product yesterday & completed it. For each survey you do you get a certain # of points - after accumulating 1000 points you can get a $10 check. Not much - but something!
