Has anyone ever actually bought a Disney Collection bed?

I loved the bed we had at the VWL in May and again at the GCH at Disneyland last week.
I am considering buying a bed from the Disney collection...

has anyone had any experience doing this yet?

p.s. I am asking on the DVC boards because we actually frequent WDW more than most people on the Community boards....

The resorts have little info stand up thingies about them now...our last couple stays anyway.

I've been tempted to order some pillows so I'll be interested in any responses.

Did you stay at GCH on points? We stayed there once on an AP discount. What a beautiful hotel!!!

BVC23 - Thanks for the link, I haven't seen it before.

We use our points at DL all the time. We're headed to the GC for a couple of nights in Sept so we can check out the DVC models. We love the Grand and can't wait for our DVC there.

Not the bed, but I did order a couple of pillows. One of the standard and one gel filled. They are nice pillows but I don't think they are the exact same as the ones as we had at BCV in May. I love to sleep on my stomach and my neck isn't stiff in the morning when we stay at BCV. I ordered the pillows from the new Disney resort collection but still wake up with a stiff neck some mornings. I'm beginning to think its stress and not the pillows.

I think we can all agree that the Disney Resort beds are really comfy. I think most of us suffer from a little sticker shock at the prices.

The problem with buying a bed is you really don't know how it will work for you until you sleep on it a few nights. I am wondering if the reason we all sleep well at the Disney Resorts is due in part to how exhausted we are when our heads hit the pillows!

Yes we stayed on points...it was really a great time. We love the hotel. But the Wilderness Lodge is still #1 in our hearts

Well I thought the Disney mattress I picked ( its a Sealy Pillowtop) was pricey at $1500 UNTIL...
I went shopping today for mattresses.... the price of the one we really want and my back really needs is $2400
