Has anyone else's immune system checked out?

Hi all-

My immune system seems to think that I handed it the pink slip or sent it on a long-term vacation! I can't do anything to get well this winter (well, now it's spring). As soon as they pull me off huge doses of medicine for two and three weeks at a time, I am sick all over again (or with the same thing that has never gone away?) within 48 to 72 hours.

Has anyone else been out-of-character ill this season? Any ideas to help boost what little immune system I have fighting?

Hopefully a nice warm spring will be right around the corner...

Drink some DanActive. Immunologist suggested this for my youngest and we all started drinking it and have all been much healthier.

I hope your feeling better soon too! Sorry you've had a rough winter.

I was doing great...up until last week. Started as a innocent sore throat. Next day AWFUL body aches. Fever and just feeling really bad. Finally after 3 days I started to move around some. Today I'm back to work and look awful! Very pale. Some cold symptoms now but my head is clear This has been the weirdest thing I've been through.

I can't even imagine going through the winter!! Good luck!!

I'm not sure what it is this year, but my dbf has been sick constantly. One cold after another. My sister and her kids keep getting sick. In fact, they're sick again now. Luckily my dd and I have been pretty healthy this year, knock on wood.

I did really well for most of the winter - only had a minor cold when the weather got really chilly. Then, they started to redo the carpeting in my office and I think the fumes from the glue plus all the dust that's been kicked around has really wiped out my immune system. I had to call out of work today because I was feeling so cruddy this morning (achy, sore throat, stuff nose, etc.).

I'm hoping that they finished the carpet this past weekend so that I can have a pleasant working environment again.
