It was okay I guess. DS liked it, I was bored but chuckled at times. I found my mind wandering! Not one I would see again.

didnt see it but it sounds solphmoric, I hate that, I would rather watch litte kids movie then a solphmoric type movie

I've seen it and I thought it was cute. Not sophmoric at all actually. I thought it was a good spirit of christmas movie. Nothing embarrasing or gross to have to explain to kids. Although the cotton ball eating did make me wonder. The amount of joy Christmas brought to Buddy really made me happy, Will was very convincing. I thought it sent a nice message about sharing your talents and having christmas spirit. Especially since I was sitting with a kid who doesn't like to play her saxaphone with anyone close by and I work with a girl who seems to hate christmas for no other reason than to annoy others. The elf costumes, art direction and film scale effects were highly comendable. How many Lego skylines do you see on film? There were no freakish sexual innuendo things like that weird cat in the hat scene with the mom's picture turning into a centerfold and his eyes popping out.

That's my story and I'm stuck to it........Help!

I'm not interested in seeing Cat in the Hat. Just looking at that cat gives me the creeps!

I want to see Master and Commander. :)

If you saw the previews for Elf you've already seen the best parts. HM was disappointing to me but I liked the sets and the references to the attraction. Master & Commander was pretty good but was a bit slow in the middle. Russell Crowe is a darn good actor:D

We saw Elf yesterday with our son who is 4. He was in one of his moods and wanted to leave 2 minutes into it:rolleyes: but we managed to make it through!! DH and I liked it a lot and did laugh a bunch of times. Good heartwarming story:D

I thought it was cute, but you may immediately discredit my comments since I am having a fit to see "Bad Santa".:p I think I may go on my own tomorrow since nobody i know wants to see it.

I liked it. Not the BEST show I've seen, but worth the $6 I spent.

Seen it 3 times already. I love it! And think it's a great all around Christmas movie! It made me excited about the upcoming holidays, and I even finished shopping because of it!

Neat, CBR!! :Pinkbounc I have a friend who can't wait to take her kids. She thinks it's her kind of holiday movie. :)
