Has anyone else done Stormstruck?

I tried looking for other topics about this new show/attraction(?) but didn't see anything. So if there was already a post on this, sorry!

DW and I were passing through one of the Innoventions buildings the other day and happened across this show near one of the entrances. We were given 3D glasses and were brought into a room where they simulated a storm and then asked us how we could have protected the property better. It was pretty interesting to watch but I don't think I'd rush to it. We were told that we were one of the first groups to ever try it, which was pretty cool! Anyone else try it yet? What did you think?

I think you mean stormstruck. We were there aug 12-24 and we did it while there. My son loved it. I found it interesting. Does not hold many people only 30 at a time. Might be too scary for young kids and make them worry about storms:

We got in on the soft opening when we were there and we liked it a lot...my grandson who is 10 loved it. He'd have done it again but we had to wait 40 minutes the first time and didn't want to wait that long again

They let 30 people into the inner theater every 15 minutes.

how do you think those of us who have severe storm phobias would handle it? I would like to experience it but I have a bad habit of hyperventilating and passing out during real thunderstorms....God bless those of you who live in the south, I could never do it....

We did it while we were there during TS Fay - I found it quite realistic. DS13 is terrified of real storms and was uncomfortable during the show. I would not advise it for you, unless you can take comfort in knowing its make-believe.
