Has anyone eaten at Shell's restaurant in Kissimme?

We loved fried foods, even though. I have been eating healthy for awhile . But, on vacation really would like to eat some fried seafood. I saw shell's menu. It looks like it would fit my bill. Has anyone ever been, is it good. How are the prices?? TIA everyone

I've never been to one, but my family went a few years ago to one near Tampa (where I grew up) and they said they'd never go back. Of course, it's been a little while, so things may have changed. They're pretty much a standard chain, as far as I know.

Shell's is a huge favorite of ours. I turned a friend onto it a few years back and now whenever her family is at Disney World, Shell's is a definite. And they have two very hungry teenage boys.

Expect peanut shells on the floor. Prices are about like Red Lobster. It's down around mile marker 15 on Highway 192. You think you're never going to get there, but you will. From Disney World, it'll be on the left hand side. Just keep checking the mile markers as you go. I think World Drive is around marker 6.

I think you've made a good choice.

We have never eaten at the Shells in Kissimmee, but we eat at the one in Ft. Myers. It is a favorite of ours! The prices are in line with Red Lobster--it is not really fancy--a real family type rest. We love the cole slaw--it has oranges in it--sounds wierd but really yummy. They have lots of sampler platters so you can try a little of everything. Enjoy!
