Has anyone eaten at both Narcoosees and Kona Cafe?

We've eaten at Kona Cafe several times and love it. We are thinking about getting out of the box and trying Narcoosees for dinner during our next trip. Can anyone tell me about the atmosphere, and also, how would you compare the food between the two as far as quality goes. Thanks in advance.

We did both on our trip last month using the DDP. Did Surf and Turf at Narcoossee's...super meal. With out the plan we probably wouldn't have gone that route and I truly can't remember prices/options from the menu. Timing dinner w/MK fireworks is really cool. They told us they would time out our dinner to be able to see the fireworks (had 730 ressie...didn't get seated until after fireworks) and we watched from the veranda. They have the music, too!

Kona was my favorite meal. I had Tuna Oscar
DW had Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi-Mahi

Two different atmospheres...Kona may be a bit more noisy just because it's a bit more open. Narcoossee's on the nautical side.

If I'm paying OOP...Kona. If I'm on the DDP...BOTH!!!!

we did both the last trip. The food was phenomenal at Kona Cafe and just okay at Narcoosee's. I felt like we paid a lot of money for a so-so meal. Our favorite higher end meal is at the California Grill. It was MUCH better than Narcoosee's. Kona Cafe is on our list of return, return, and return again. We loved it that much.

I've eaten at Kona Cafe for lunch before but not dinner. I've had dinner at Narcoossee's and it was fantastic! Best crab cakes I've ever had!!

We have done both and are going back this year! The macadamia nut covered fish at Kona's was fantastic and my DH had the steak and ate it all which is rare for him.

Have done both. We go to Kona Cafe as often as we can, and will not return to Narcoosee's until we have it on good authority that the food preparation has improved and the service has also.
