Has anyone done Wishes FP+ recently?

I agree - I don't think I've had a question on anything that you haven't known the answer for Robo - from the early " we've never been" to now 15 trips later. I have appreciated your help & never tiring responses - thank you :)

Wow!
Now, that makes me very happy to think that I have had a part in making so many of your trips more fun.

Thanks, Mom!

Just to clarify...(we have 12 days left and with all my planning done I gotta find more stuff to think about haha)

1. We can choose which FP+ viewing area we want to go to, correct?

2. If we are able to choose (and want to be in the east side section), is the view of Tink flying overhead better or worse?

3. How early will they let you in? You're not confined to the 9:40-9:55pm time, right?

Thanks everyone! Also thanks Robo for your beautiful maps and endless helpful advice! I love oogling at your creations!

1. You do that when you arrive that night. Neither is specified in advance.
2. It simply doesn't matter. You will be a bit closer to Tink on the east side, which may or may not be "better."
3. Guests have been arriving as early as 8PM for a 10PM Wishes.

Thank you Robo for your help! I'm thinking we will get there as soon as possible after our second FP+ and just chill in the viewing area until showtime. I'm SO excited!

Yes, you choose the night if your FP+.

From the back right of the location on front of the Plaza, we found the view of Tink to be wonderful.

Entry starts at 8, I think?

Another thanks to everyone for all the info here. This will be very helpful to us on our upcoming trip!!

(And yes, Robo, your maps and other info in general has been helping us on our trips for years! :thumbsup2 Even the Sentinel links from the reporter April deUno have been useful. She has some good scoops! ;) )

Wow thanks for the wealth of info here!

Just to clarify with FP+ for parade and fireworks that means there's no way for us to get the 4th FP+ anywhere right?

I will be trying the FP for Wishes and Main Street Electrical Parade tonight if the weather holds out.

Under most conditions, that would be true.

Does that mean fps for parade and fireworks usually still available the day of? :)

They usually are NOT.

Over at DHS, however, it is very common to be able to get a FP+ for Fantasmic! even late in the day.
(Because they issue thousands of them per day.)

I seem to be having an out-of-body experience!

;)

Good gracious... I should stop posting now...:headache:
Either way... Thanks both of you!

Another question...is the "road" area in front of the fastpass area blocked off during the fireworks and Celebrate the Magic show? In other words, if you are at the front of the area will there be people standing right in front of you or will there be a gap between you and the folks in front of you.

My family used a fastpass for Wishes in March. We reserved it in the evening, however, after we had used many other fastpasses that day. The area was very crowded, but it was nice to have an area to sit in until the show started instead of standing like a sardine on Main Street. As long as you are fine not being able to get any additional fastpasses for your day, I would suggest getting a fastpass for Wishes. Have a great time! :)
