Has anyone done the St. John Island Tour? If so what was it like and how long was it? We are thinking of maybe doing this.

I have done it off RCCL but it's been a while. We found it a waste of time to be honest.

Best trip of the cruise!!! Most beautiful island ................ thought we were in paradise. Island tour was lovely: we shall definately do it again! The boat trip to the island is lovely too: guess we all like different things eh?! Dont miss it!Nat

we did the st john island tour last summer and enjoyed it a lot. we got to see senic views of the island from up high and down low. the pictures i took look like postcards. this summer we'll be doing the snorkling excursion on st. johns and are looking forward to going back over.

We took this tour in December through DCL. There were 3 of us, DH, myself and DD 4 yrs old. DH and I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful beaches but our little one got a little bored on the bus.

It started with a ferry ride about 40 minutes from St. Thomas to St. John. Then there was a two hours narrated bus tour of the Island. Although we took some of the most gorgeous pictures of our entire trip, we didn't get to stay at any of the beaches for very long. At Maho beach, we only got to dip our feet in the water. Our little one was so disappointed when we had to leave. She told her dad " I wish I could stay here forever!" and a lady from our tour group who overheard her agreed.

I think that if you want some beach time, you would probably enjoy the Trunk Bay snorkeling excursion. If you just want to sit back and relax and enjoy the view then the Island tour is just right for you.
