Really??? Not available in the US??? I haven't actually looked for it in years, but it used to be one of the most popular brands here in MA. I used to love getting the little ceramic animals in each box.

I bought some thank you note cards and then wrote a personal message from our family thanking mousekeeping for helping to make our trip so magical - we will all sign our names on the card and will leave $10 each day (we are a family of 6). I hope they like that. I just wanted them to know how much we appreciate their work in making our trip so special. I think any gesture is a nice one! And I love the idea of bringing a little part of your world (Canada, Hershey, etc.) to their world!!

Princess Trisha If you dont mind me asking what is Red Rose tea, Is it actually a tea product made of roses. Dont laugh, I just got real curious and I love trying new teas, I have a freind in Canada and will ask her to maybe send me some....Thanks for your help!!!

Red Rose is a brand name and it's... well to me one of the best!

Here is something I have always wondered about tipping housekeeping at a hotel. Say you have been very happy with your housekeeper, and you want to be sure she gets a nice tip. But, what if the day you leave is her day off? Does that mean the person who just comes on that day will get the tip? Or, are they supposed to be honorable, and pool the tips? Anyone know how it works?

I had this happen to me once and different people are there are different days and I knew the housekeeper that was doing the good job so I made sure I found her. Being we are there for 2 weeks I knew what days she was there so even though it was one day prior to our departure I made sure I personally gave her a tip to ensure that she got it and nobody else.

It's available here in Maryland. I have a box sitting in my cabinet. And a little collection of those ceramic figures, too!

I like the idea of leaving a small gift along with cash. When I worked for tips, the holidays were always nice because of the extra tips. But I would have appreciated a small gift as well. We will be at the World over Christmas, and my DH will want to leave a larger tip than usual, which is fine. But I think I will add a small bottle of lotion or a candy bar...just a little extra thank you.
