Has anyone done this Epcot tour

DH and I were looking through the different tours offered and he really liked the sound of Undiscovered Future World at Epcot. Has anyone done this? I would like to hear the good and the bad about this tour.

DH and I did this tour just on 7/11. Our tour guide was Robert and even with 13 people on the tour this was fantastic. We have done 5 backstage tours and this rivals Keys to the Kingdom with Rae as our guide. (DH will still tell you his favorite is the Segway Tour!) We learned information about everything from the tiles used in constructing SE, visited lounges in SE, Living Seas, areas no longer used in Imagination, learned about traffic flow in Land, saw fireworks barges, learned about Test Track, saw the "real" side of control in M:S, visited costuming, etc.

Gee, can you tell I liked this tour? We also got special Illuminations viewing in Italy the evening of our tour--great location.

Remember tour discounts with AP,, DVC, or Disney Visa, and I'd request Robert as a guide.

The only down side was tour length -- 5 hours, and we did get a break at Seasons in the Land--just enough time for a snack (needed at that point).

That's funny...we were on the SAME tour as well!! That's accounts for almost the whole tour group! That's crazy!! There were 5 of us and we also watched Illuminations in the rain/drizzle that night.

Funny...all of us were there and on DIS and didn't even know it!

Wow!! Funny that all you Disers were together. What time did you book the tour for so that you could see Illuminations?

Sounds interesting, I guess I'll be booking this one!

The tours are actually in the morning 9:00am and only on certain days of the week. At the end of the tour they give you info on a reserved spot to go that night to watch Illuminations. They have your name on a clip board when you get there that night. The reserved area is only valid for the 9:00pm show on the day of your tour.

And I did have my lime green ribbon on my bag! Lindym and I figured out we were DISers but not rkdahl (and DH and I graduated from St. Olaf, not that far from Rochester). We were disappointed about the shuttle launch!

All right, that settles it. Skipper Bubba and I will definitely be doing this one. Sounds great. Is it the usual 90-day reservation window, or can we try to reserve now for our December trip?

We also enjoyed the future world tour. The behind the scenes were very nice to see. The special viewing was a nice bonus for RoE. We also have done the keys tour and others, and have yet to be disappointed!! Do them if you can...

We had Rae for our Keys to the Kingdom Tour as well!! She was great! If this tour is anything like keys to the kingdom you can count me in!

I just called to book for May 2006 and was told that the books weren't open yet. The CM I spoke with told me to try again mid-September.
