I'm not sure about the debit card, but FOP has a great place to store your things while you ride.

You get me I don't move as fast as the average adult but you are saying that's not a problem I well still be the first one to my bag

I'm a NYer. I'm always thinking security. I scoped out the group of people I was riding with in my room. It was NOT to capacity. My family was to my left then one older man to my right. The only risk of theft would have been this nice gentlemen to my right. I felt my stuff was secure the whole time. I never felt rushed to get my stuff in or out either. You will be fine. Enjoy the ride!

If there were reports of widespread theft on this ride, you'd have heard about it.

You could also rent a locker for the day at AK and put your bag in there before riding, if you'd like.

If the debit card is the only item of real value in your bag, slip it in your pocket during the ride if you're nervous, or in your waistband, etc. However, when I rode it I felt very secure stowing my bag.

If use of the debit card worries you, and it should, why not use a credit card for the added protection. Personally, I would never use a debit card to secure my hotel reservation or link it through an account tied to my Magic Band. I do agree though, you have very little to worry about per theft on the ride.

I may be misreading, but I don't think she's concerned about the debit card more than the bag. I think she just mentioned it because if she adds it to her resort account for charging privileges she can use her magic band to make purchases if she doesn't bring anything else into the park with her.

Charges don't always show up on your account immediately, so I doubt they would let you attach a card to the reservation and then unattach it prior to the end of your stay.

You are magical because I don't know how you got that understanding. Makes sense. I just didn't understand.

But tink it doesn't make sense to inattachbit even if you could. Just don't charge more than you intended.

Or get a lanyard and nice solid lanyard pouch (I like the Witz brand hard plastic waterproof "see it safe" case) and a lanyard of your choice, and carry card, ID, insurance cards perhaps a bit of cash in that way. I dislike magic bands and we rarely charge to the room, so we still do that at wdw.
