Hi i saw this excursion but during a search didn't get much feedback.

Any input is appreciated also on the kayak ride.

Thanks!

Are you talking about Mystic Mountain, Zip Lines and Bobsled? ? ?

Not much banter here yet about Flamoulth excursions.

And that's still a touch thin. I'm researching/reading too.

HTH

ETA; Or did I miss a zipline tour that leads seamlessly into a kayak adventure down the Martha Brae? ? ? :rotfl2:

Yup the one that ziplines then goes on a kayak adventure. Not many reviews.:guilty: I see it on the DCL page. Everyone staying on the ship?:rotfl2:

I belive this is the excursion you are speaking about. ? ? ?

This is not Mystic Mountain fwiw.

There is some discussion at the CC link though about this locale.

Good Luck and enjoy.

:)

ETA; My bad for assuming I could zipline, then seamlessly enter a river in a kayak. lol.
Perhaps kayak ziplining into said river? ? ? Sounds like they need to work on this one. lol.
I'd bite.

Just got home today from the Western on the Fantasy. We did the Mystic Mountain zip lining and bobsledding and it was freaking awesome! It was a long excursion though, we were off ship for about 8 hours doing this, but part of that was because my daughter lost her iPhone on the bobsled run and they had to send somebody to try to find it in the forest, and amazingly they did. Yay them. It was a lot of fun and very safe. I'm very scared of heights and wasn't scared at all on the zip lines. I don't know if this is the one you are asking about for sure but it was very cool and I hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the review.

A few questions if I may. :rotfl2: Everyone is hungry here, lol. ;)

Was this a DCL excursion?

Was it this Tranopy Adventure?

When did you meet aboard?
Where did you meet aboard?
When did you debark with the group?
What kind of vehicle specifically did you ride on the way to MM?
How long did it take to arrive at MM?
Did everyone have to ride the Lift up?
Did you have to leave MM at a specific time?
Was all the time at MM?
Did you stop elsewhere?
Or could you leave at your leisure?
Did you have lunch there? Was it tasty?
Was there any way to drive to the top of MM, as opposed to ride the sky lift for those that dislike heights?
Did you purchase extra bobsled tickets, if so how much $?
Were there harassing vendors at MM?
Etc. , etc.

I guess you get my point. lol. :scared1:
Lots of detailed questions. Please fill in all the details for us OCD travelers.
There is little to none reports of this DCL excursion.

TIA

There are lots of reviews for Mystic Mountain and the Tranopy Adventure on Trip Advisor. Falmouth is a new port for Disney, they only starting sailing there in May, so that is contributing to the minimum of posts/reviews of the excursions.

The Trip Advisor reviews were very positive for the Tranopy Tour, and PP also had a good review, so I am happy this is on our list for our upcoming cruise with DCL. :thumbsup2

We did a zip line tour in Falmouth last summer on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I think it was "chukka time traveler at Good Hope Estate." We'd booked a different one because my DD loves zip lines but not rappelling, but they changed us to this one for some reason. It was absolutely amazing! We walked through the port area and were met by the tour operator. Boarded a bus. Nice ride to the site with a guide narrating. A little harrowing on narrow roads, but I'm terrified on interstates too, lol. The instructors were thorough. It was the best zip lining I've ever done, especially the one where we jumped out the window of the estate house. It ended with rappelling. DD didn't exactly enjoy that part, but she lived. Afterwards we could either purchase a BBQ lunch or go ahead and get on the bus back to the ship. I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks so much for the review.

Was this a DCL excursion? Yes, booked through DCL

Was it this Tranopy Adventure? Yep, that's it

When did you meet aboard? Meeting time was 7:15 AM, huge line of people to get into the Buena Vista Theatre for excursions, didn't actually walk into the theatre until closer to 7:30, no big deal, they put in extra time to check everyone in.
Where did you meet aboard? see above
When did you debark with the group? Close to 7:45 I think
What kind of vehicle specifically did you ride on the way to MM? Toyota van, seated 11 people plus driver and escort, but there were only 9 of us in it, my family and 1 other family
How long did it take to arrive at MM? about 1 1/4 hours, stopped a couple of times so escort could point out things along the way.
Did everyone have to ride the Lift up? Yes, no way to walk it
Did you have to leave MM at a specific time? Guide wanted to leave by 2:30
Was all the time at MM? Yes
Did you stop elsewhere? Briefly, see above
Or could you leave at your leisure? No, had to leave as a group
Did you have lunch there? YesWas it tasty? Jerk chicken was good, but the sauce for it was very spicy, my wife loved it, too spicy for me, hot dogs for kids were really weird, they didn't like them
Was there any way to drive to the top of MM, as opposed to ride the sky lift for those that dislike heights? No, and you actually ride it up twice. First time to get to the top, then you zip line about 3/4 the way down, take the lift to the bottom and go all the way back up again for lunch and bobsled. When you get in line for bobsled make sure you get in the right line, their is one on the left for Tranopy tour only, the one on the right is just form people who are doing bobsled and moves way slower
Did you purchase extra bobsled tickets, if so how much $? wasn't time for it
Were there harassing vendors at MM? None
Etc. , etc.

I guess you get my point. lol. :scared1:

I really think you will enjoy it, even if anyone is afraid of heights like me, I loved it

Yes I saw the Tranopy one. Not sure of that one because you only get to have one bobsled ride. Talked to someone who did it and said the value was expensive for one short ride and zipline . So we are looking to do the zip line plus kayak adventure . (if i can find any kind of reviews). I've found 3 from 2 years ago. Lot of people have done the tubing but not many the kayak.

The rose hall/goodhope gig sounds interesting. My kids definitely want to zipline. Jumping out of window? Sounds cool:)

Trying to do something exciting YET affordable. With some of these excurison
prices I need another account:goodvibes

Thanks for all the reviews.
