Has anyone done the Luau recently?

We are trying to plan a few special things for DD turning 12 and wonder if this would be something she would like. We have done multiple princess meals but she is outgrowing ‘tis.

We last did it in 2015 but it hasn't changed at all since then as far as I know. We enjoyed it. The food isn't anything too special, but it's not bad and the show is fun. The fire dancer is the best part.

HDDR is also really fun.

Never been at all but have stayed at nearby longhouses and heard/watched the exuberant faces of guests taking pics before and after the meal and the dedicated but orderly rush to the Trader Sam venues after the luau is over. I certainly see children in your young lady's age group.
