Hi everyone :wave2:

When we go the WDW next year we have set one day a side for the hidden Mickey hunt. We have the book with all the clues and we are going to do it properly for one day.

We will be going to all the parks, resorts etc to find them, should be fun ::MickeyMo

Anyone else done this?

.....only one day?

We had this book last year my boys, 7 & 9 at the time, absolutely LOVED looking for Hidden Mickeys. They still point them out when we are out and about at home.

We did it as we went round the park, good way to pass the time in any queues.

Think you may need more than a day to do the whole book!! Some are almost impossible to find.

Have fun :earsboy:

where did you get the book from? my dh would love that :rotfl2:

Think I probably got ours from Amazon but can't remember. Its called 'Hidden Mickeys a field guide to WDW's best kept secret' by Steven M Barrett.

When we were there last year they were selling them all over WDW.

It's great fun.

We met a wonderful CM (Captain Ron) at the Yacht Club marina before doing our Illuminations Cruise last year. He very kindly e-mailed us lots of information about the history of hidden Mickey's and where to find them, along with some really fun facts and trivia about WDW. Sadly our computer broke and we now have a new one.....and the email attachments were all saved on the old PC :( :( :(

Keep a look out for him if you are around that area - he is great fun!

We love looking for them as well , we find them here at home too

please let us know how you get on

I met him at a meet a few years ago and he took us round MGM - would have really struggled to find the hidden Mickeys without his explanation! The book is good and fun but don't expect it to be easy, even if you follow the easy clues.....

The problem with the hidden mickey hunt is after you get home from Orlando you still see hidden mickeys in everything! :lmao: 'Mum, look at that cloud - its a mickey' 'Mum! looka at my cereal - its a hidden mickey!' 'Mum! look at the cow - its got a hidden mickey!' :rotfl2:
