Has anyone done the disney visa "Imperial meet n greet" at DHS yet?

Yes, Vader talks, and Chewy does also (but he doesn't use English). They talk in the movies so I would expect them to talk in the meet and greet. I am starting to wonder if Vader talking was a recording. That might explain the odd behavior if he only has limited interaction abilities.
he has pre recorded phrases that he says depending on who you are, and what you are wearing. I was wearing a Jedi Mickey hat and he asked me if I was a Rebel Spy. My daughter had Vader stockings and a Boba Fett jacket and he told her to be on the look out for any Rebel activity and report back to the Empire

got my email yesterday...here's the link https://disneyrewards.com/vacation-...rld&int_cmp=drv_EMD_SWWDWMNGFY16&id=PR&ddrd=U

Vader talks??? Omg. I am so mad this wasn't open when we were there in October/November. We missed it by 4 weeks. Although it would've scared my 4 year old to death!

Kenny the Pirate just did a write up of this on his website. If I'm remembering correctly, he said there were two lines. One for Vader, one for Chewie. But his wasn't about the Disney visa m&g.

There is also a write up on blog.touringplans.com with all the details. Also pictures of the cupckes and dark side chicken and waffles, etc at the Docksider. That peanut butter vader cupcake has me wanting February to come quickly so I can try it and hubby can get the Afterburner drink.:chewy: :darth:

Btw did they change the free photo for the character spot in epcot?I don't see it posted on the disney visa perks. I think we got a print last year and I think we got one in dca this February.
Just did the meet at Epcot. You no longer get a print, just a digital copy. They told us when they checked our card and gave us a thing telling us to look online.

So if you don't have a Disney Chase card, can you still meet Vader but you will be in line longer? We are going the end of January and my little guy would love to meet him.

Yes. There is a regular meet and greet with Vader for all guests.

We were there on Saturday afternoon and I asked the castmember if it was a different character, or just a shorter line to meet Chewy or Vader. She said it was a different character and "high ranking officer of the imperial alliance, but she could not say who for sure. The wait was 40 minutes for that mystery character while Chewy and Vader's lines were fluctuating between 20 and 40 minutes. So, we didn't bother to wait.

We met Vader at the visa meet and greet this past Friday in the afternoon. Regular line Vader had a 40 minute wait, we walked right into the visa meet with absolutely no wait. I don't think there is very good signage for the visa meet.

He spoke to us, and ask the cms were very serious and stern and in character.

So who might be the mystery character? Or are the cm's messing around with everyone?

I was hoping they would switch off - DD really wants to meet Chewy. The timing is not great for us either, as we do not have a whole day this time at HS with a shorter trip, with heading over after we fly in, probably getting there around 11, and already have FP and Sci- Fi scheduled during that block, and the second day at HS we will hop over from Epcot, and probably not get there till about 4 for Minnie's Dinner at 4:40. DD is excited about SW and has outfits picked out, so we'll have to see what we can do - with crowds growing the week before Christmas, I am sure lines will not be short! At least we can do Darth with the Visa FP .

Can you get both the Epcot picture and the HS picture?
Yes, you can as they are two separate Disney Chase Visa greets.

It is Kylo Ren at DHS.

*Closing this thread due to outdated character info.
