I just curious to see if anyone has done this and if so, which character is there for the picture opp? I know they have two character lines for both Chewy and Darth Vader but is there another character different from these two, that you can get a picture with for the visa meet n greet? Thanks in advance.

Some have met Vader and some have met Chewie.

The dedicated room for the Visa meet with Vader has not been completed. Visa Guests are getting priority meets with Vader or Chewie until the Visa room is ready and then Visa Guests will meet Vader.

So basically you could wait on line for a picture for Vader or you can kind of just take the visa meet n greet route and not wait on line and get a picture with Vader asap. I thought they might have a different character like Luke Skywalker or perhaps someone new from the new Star Wars trilogy . A little disappointed to say the least but thank you for the information.

I'm going again tonight and will check on that, Like @hiroMYhero said the room for the Visa meet wasn't ready on Tuesday.
For the Visa meet, once it's open, it will only be Vader meeting from 11am to 4pm. It must be a Disney Chase Visa no other Visa Chase will be accepted.

SO where do we get this done? The same place as what we were planning for the regular characters with the Disney Visa Chase card? I'm a little confused on this one. Haven't read too much information on it.

The Chase Disney Visa Imperial meet and greet is in DHS at the new Launch Bay building (formerly known as Animation Building). Once it has the dedicated room, Visa guests will meet Vader.

The Disney Visa meet and greet in Epcot continues with the regular VIP characters.

I got this email today:

  • Star Wars™ Imperial Meet ‘N’ Greet
Beginning December 2015, feel the power of the Force at the Star Wars™ Imperial Meet ‘N’ Greet, offered daily from 11am to 4pm at the Star Wars Launch Bay in the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

Simply present your Disney Visa Credit Card to enter this exclusive location.
There is no mention of who will be there for the M&G. Hopefully someone here can confirm for sure who it is. I am guess Vader and a Stormtrooper or two. But, that is only a guess.

If it is just Vader, I would pass. A stormtropper or two would change things but like I said I would love to see someone different. A surprise like the Emperor would be cool. I got the same email too.

I was bummed by the experience. I had to ask every cast member along the way. We were there yesterday and it was a bit of a mad house since it just opened. It ended up essential being a fast pass. We were going to meet Darth but the wait was 30 minutes, in the visa line, 90 in stand by. So, we opted to forgo it, maybe we will try before we leave.

Btw did they change the free photo for the character spot in epcot?I don't see it posted on the disney visa perks. I think we got a print last year and I think we got one in dca this February.

Good info, we'll be there in a couple weeks. Shame it's only 11-4 though, we won't be at DHS that early until the last couple days of our trip.

We did it yesterday. It was a dedicated room and open from 11 to 4. We met Vader, not extra characters. The meeting room was tiny and we waited in a hallway. The area was obviously just thrown together, but launch bay was really fast tracked so that is to be expected. It kind of makes you appreciate what a quality job Disney does for most of character meets. We went to the normal line for Vader and told them we had the Visa card. They directed us up the steps, around the corner and through another area to an unmarked open door with a cast member standing there to check your card. Very non-Disney. Vader wait without card was 40 minutes, we waited 10 or 15. Just go to the normal Vader line and they will give you the directions. The cast member told us people started lining up in the Visa line at 10:30 and that after 3 was the best time to come. I believe it was just before 3 when we got there. The download of the picture is free.

Vader was creepy, just really odd. I think the cast member playing our Vader must have just been dumped by his girlfriend or something!

I have a Disney Chase debit card (not the credit card). It worked for the special meet and greet in Epcot. Will I be able to use it for this one?

Only thing I could find was this link - http://www.chipandco.com/star-wars-...-studios-for-disney-visa-card-members-224280/

Which claims a debit card will not work. The official Disney Chase Debit website does not currently list the Imperial Meet n Greet, only the Epcot one - https://disneydebit.com/vacation-perks/

Hope you still can though!

Well, it's Darth Vader. He should have a Scary/Creepy vibe to him, no? :)

Plus Darth did have some Girl Problems earlier in his life.

Ha, I guess he did have some girl problems :). I expected Vader to not exactly be cuddly, but it was just weird. Hard to describe. I don't think it is the norm for meeting Vader.

Yes, Vader talks, and Chewy does also (but he doesn't use English). They talk in the movies so I would expect them to talk in the meet and greet. I am starting to wonder if Vader talking was a recording. That might explain the odd behavior if he only has limited interaction abilities.
