So I'm researching Universal Orlando---never been...I'm a big Disney fan...so we're a little scared.

On the Universal website, there is an option to purchase a 1 park meal ticket for $19.99.

It reads like it's a wristband you buy, which says:

"This Meal Deal Ticket is valid for one (1) day of unlimited trips through the food service lines at participating Meal Deal locations."

Does that mean if you pay $19.99, you can eat all day long at particpating restaurants?

If so, is the food any good?

Thanks for the thread! I looked in the FAQs and didn't see any info...will check it out!

Yup that is what it means...If you want refills you have to go back through the line each time.

Food imo is decent. They have pizza, salad, chinese food, fruit bowl, pasta, and burgers. Nothing overly fancy but ya.

They have 3 restaurants at each park to chose from. Both I believe are identical in variety.

The food available is standard theme park fare and is decent. The main thing to remember about the meal deal is the park hours. They close late now but by the end of August they will close at 6pm and the restaurants close 30 minutes prior to park closing. The meal deal isn't worth it unless you could eat two large meals between the hours of 11am and 5:30pm. I love to eat but probably couldn't do much more than one large meal so it's a complete waste for me. If you have teens who love to eat, then it might be worth it for you.
