We did the Rum Point portion of the excursion. It was a great beach with lots of chairs and shade. There was a bar ther, a small gift shop, and picnic tables. When you were ready fro lunch, which was included, you just went to a picnic table and the waitress brought over a menu. There were several items to pick from, mostly sandwich type. It was very tasty and the gratuity was also included.
We did not do the Stingray portion, however everyone from both excursions came and left on the same ferry. Somewhere in the middle of the morning they would take the people who wanted to go to Stingray City and they would spend some time there and then return to have a late lunch and spend some time on the beach.
The transportation to Rum Point is a van/taxi ride over to a marina where you board the ferry for about a 45 min. ride to the beach. It was very pleasant and the time passed quickly. It was a double decker type ferry, so you could sit upstairs in the sun, or ride in the bottom with a roof overtop. We hit a shower on the way over and were very glad we had chosen the bottom.
We would do this excursion again.
